Install the CLI + Add the Skill

For agents with terminal access. Node.js 22.16.0 or later. No Photoshop or Canva login is required. Supports macOS Apple Silicon, Linux ARM64/x64 and Windows ARM64/x64. Linux requires glibc and OpenSSL 3.

Use claude-code, cursor, copilot or agents instead of codex, or pass --dir for a custom skills directory. Start a new agent session after installation. Run canvatopsd discover for offline JSON command definitions.

No Canva login, CanvaToPSD account, API key or email is required. Supported text remains editable; vector artwork becomes raster image layers. Fonts and effects may differ. Existing PSD editing, arbitrary image/PDF conversion, video and animation are outside this CLI's scope.

Choose pages and review the total on the hosted checkout page. After you pay, conversion starts and your agent shares a private Web preview link. Preview and download the completed PSD without another payment. One task ID follows the design through every step.

For several pages, choose them with --pages 1,3 and use --page 3 for a specific page. The CLI reports its version automatically; agents identify themselves with --agent and can add --agent-version when known.
